Congratulations!

Well done to the participants, volunteers and support teams in the 2010 Rob Roy Challenge. To check your team's results visit our online timing page.

Our priority now is to ensure we maximise the funds raised for good causes. To clarify, every participant has committed to raising at least £400 in sponsorship, or £1,600 for a four person team. Both our own online fundraising site and Just Giving will remain open until 30 September to receive funds.
Photobucket website We have also uploaded the official photos from the event to Photobucket, a photo sharing website. This allows you to share photos easily with social networking sites and even save high resolution images that feature your own teams. We would also like to upload your own photos from the event. Please e-mail these to robroy@martincurrie.com.

Finally, we have announced the date for the sixth Martin Currie Rob Roy Challenge, which will take place on 18 June 2011. We hope to open registrations in the next few weeks.

Join us as a volunteer at the Rob Roy Challenge!

We are looking for 120 volunteers to help with the smooth running of the event and would be delighted if you would like to get involved.

By way of a thank you, volunteers are invited to join the fantastic party at the end of the event on the banks of Loch Tay. Included is a ceilidh, sumptuous feast, hog roast and fireworks display! For those who plan to make a night of it, camping is provided onsite. On Sunday morning, volunteers can stay on to enjoy a delicious brunch before heading home safe in the knowledge that they have helped to raise hundreds of thousands of pounds for four great charities - Sightsavers, The Prince's Trust, PSYBT and NSPCC.
For more detailed information, contact Sightsavers on scotland@sightsavers.info or phone 0131 625 0008.
About the challenge

The Rob Roy Challenge is one of Scotland's most successful fundraising events. Covering 55 miles of the spectacular Rob Roy Way, teams or individuals walk 16 miles from Drymen, near Loch Lomond, north-east through the Trossachs to Callander, where they switch to bikes for a 39 mile cycle to Kenmore - all in around 8-12 hours.

On arrival at Kenmore on Saturday evening, there is a sumptuous feast and party, followed by camping on the stunning banks of Loch Tay or accommodation in local hotels. Breakfast is served on Sunday before you depart for home.

Through the sponsorship of individuals and teams, the event will raise money for the Martin Currie Charitable Foundation and its charity partners. Now in its fifth year, the Rob Roy Challenge has already raised over £1.5 million for good causes, a figure we intend to build upon in 2010. Please note that each participant is required to raise at least £400 in sponsorship for the event.
